the other two songs i wanted to put on here were “Deadweight” and “Debra” but “Debra” was too long, and i thought of “Deadweight” too late since it wasn’t on any of his records. i strongly prefer more introspective folky Beck, but Midnite Vultures grew on me after awhile. i’m not really into Mellow Gold or Odelay or Guero at all that much anymore, but Sea Change, One Foot in the Grave and especially Mutations, are his best in my opinion.
